TVN called on to look after punters in country pubs

Stephen Ferguson, National CEO of the Australian Hotels Association (AHA), has today backed calls by its members for Sky Racing to be given permission by TVN to broadcast NSW and Victorian thoroughbred racing into pubs and clubs across the country this weekend. Australian Hotels Association 2014 National Awards for Excellence

The elite of Australia’s hospitality and accommodation industry were honoured in a glittering nationwide function held on the Gold Coast in Queensland last night. Among the highlights were the induction of industry stalwarts in Victoria’s Peter Burnett and South Australia’s Peter Hurley into the Johnnie Walker Hall of Fame. APPLICATION FOR CONSENT TO RULE CHANGES

Members are advised that on 27 November 2013, the AHA lodged an application with the General Manager of Fair Work Commission pursuant to Section 158A of the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009 (Cth) for her consent to the alteration of Rule 5 of the Rules of the AHA to add a new Sub Rule (3) that will extend the membership eligibility of the AHA to certain types of accommodation providers in New South Wales. New AHA National CEO commences

Australian Hotels Association (AHA) National President Mr Peter Burnett today announced that Stephen Ferguson had commenced in the role of National CEO with the AHA.
